SWIMMING AND BONFIRE

This event is canceled.

We will be swimming and having a bonfire at the Crust’s home. And yes - their pool has a heater and there will be s’mores!

• Who: Any of our Calvary students (grades 6-12) and their friends are welcome.

• What: Swimming & Bonfire

  • Students can plan to swim for the first hour or so before we transition to a fire.

  • An important note, please keep in mind that while swimming we want everyone to exhibit a proper level of modesty in swimwear to avoid impropriety, indecency, or inappropriate physical attention. If there is question or concern, please consider wearing some cover-up (i.e. shorts, t-shirt, tank-top, etc.) over a swim suit; if anyone is not modestly dressed they may be asked put on a cover-up of some kind. Please be sure to pass this along to any friends who may attend.

  • Please eat before coming, we will have snacks (and s’mores), but will not serve a meal.

  • During our time around the fire we will have some study and discussion from the Word about sharing our faith.

• Why: Jesus is awesome!... In line with Calvary's Core Commitments, our hope with this event is to provide an opportunity to build authentic friendships and grow to know God deeply together. Our prayer is to come alongside parents and families to help our youth walk in Christ Jesus, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith (Col 2:6-7).
