Kingdom Multiplication

Our heart to expand God’s Kingdom.

Rooted in the Great Commission, where Jesus called His followers to make disciples of all nations, “kingdom multiplication” encompasses evangelism, discipleship, church planting/replanting, and leadership development. It’s about more than just adding new members; it’s about fostering exponential growth through initiatives that spread the gospel, nurture spiritual maturity, and equip new leaders to carry on the work of the church.

With work to be done, God is still calling people to Himself.

With work still to be done, God continues to call people to Himself, and this call is not just for pastors, teachers, or local missionaries, but for all believers. To effectively reach our world, we must position ourselves to grow and develop into who God has called us to be - missionary-disciple-makers! This requires training and development, planting new Gospel-centered churches, and bringing declining churches back to life. Our activities, such as church replanting and leadership development through cohorts and residencies, hope to facilitate this multiplication. By revitalizing struggling congregations and planting new churches, we aim to create thriving faith communities that make a real difference in their neighborhoods just like we have experienced in ours. Our heart is to empower each believer to make disciples, each church to plant new churches, and every leader to train more leaders, perpetuating the cycle of Kingdom growth!

Our story of Kingdom Multiplication.

Calvary Church – Nampa was founded in 1957 as Nampa First Southern Baptist Church. After years of growth and decline, in 2016 we decided something must change in order for our church to be a relevant and gospel force in our community. We had faith that God was not done with us yet and so did Calvary Church - Englewood.

Calvary Church - Englewood was founded in 1952. By 2009 Calvary was near extinction, but refused to believe God was done with their church. Through years of revitalization, Calvary Englewood is now not on thriving, but has founded The Calvary Family of churches, growing across Colorado, Nebraska, Idaho, California, and by God’s grace, beyond.

Planting & Replanting Churches

Planting and replanting churches are crucial in our mission to multiply God's Kingdom. Church planting involves establishing new congregations to reach more people with the gospel and provide communities where believers can worship, grow, and serve together. This proactive approach allows us to bring the message of Jesus Christ to new areas and demographics, fostering spiritual growth and vibrant faith communities. Replanting, on the other hand, involves revitalizing existing churches that may be struggling or in decline. By injecting fresh vision, leadership, and resources, we aim to renew these congregations, enabling them to thrive and effectively minister to their communities once again. Both planting and replanting churches are vital for extending our reach, ensuring that the transformative power of the gospel continues to spread and impact lives in diverse and meaningful ways.

Leadership Development: Residencies and Cohorts

Leadership development is a cornerstone of kingdom multiplication, essential for fostering healthy and sustainable growth. Our commitment to developing leaders includes residencies and cohorts focused on critical aspects of ministry, including preaching, shepherding, missions, etc. Through our residency programs, emerging leaders gain hands-on experience and mentorship, working closely with pastors to develop their skills and deepen their understanding of effective ministry. Our cohorts offer collaborative learning environments where leaders can engage with peers, share insights, and receive training in areas like preaching, enabling them to communicate God's Word with clarity and passion; shepherding, equipping them to provide pastoral care and guidance; and missions, inspiring them to lead outreach efforts that extend God's love to the ends of the earth. By investing in the development of capable and committed leaders, we ensure that our churches are well-equipped to nurture their congregations and fulfill their mission to spread the gospel and transform communities.
